DMS Job Positions
DMS is a well-established and rapidly expanding Kiwifruit and Avocado Postharvest and Orchard Management business in the Central Bay of Plenty. We currently have positions available at both our Te-Puna and Te-Puke Sites.
HARVEST AUDITORS- FIXED TERM
We are currently looking for Harvest Auditors based at our Te-Puna and Te-Puke Sites. You will be required to undertake audits of harvesting gangs against DMS 2017 harvest specifications from April through to June 2017
The successful applicants will have:
•Ability to ensure compliance with desired Harvest standards are met
•Decision making confidence
•Excellent written and communication skills
•Good organisational skills and have the ability to work unsupervised
•Ability to work weekends/ flexible hours as and when required
•A full drivers licence
•Experience in Harvest Auditing within the Kiwifruit Industry is an advantage
PASTORAL CARER- FIXED TERM, PART TIME
We are currently looking for a pastoral carer based between our Te-Puna and Te-Puke Sites. You will be responsible for providing pastoral care for the RSE employees during the duration of their stay in New Zealand and ensuring they are supported in the integration into the DMS work environment and New Zealand culture.
The successful applicants will have:
•A full driver's licence
•Ability to work weekends/ flexible hours as and when required
•Excellent communication and people skills
•Ability to relate well to all levels of staff
•Strong organisational and planning skills
•Good computer skills
LINE MANAGER (SIZER OPERATOR)- PERMANENT
We are currently looking for a Line Manager at our Te-Puna Site. You will be responsible for managing the packing operation and ensuring that objectives relating to productivity cost, quality and staff management are met.
Required Skills:
•Experience with Lynx or Compac machines
•Computer skills at an intermediate level
•Kiwiplus/Freshpack experience
This person will have:
•Strong leadership and communication skills
•Enthusiasm to achieve superior results
•The ability to perform under pressure
•The ability to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing environment
•Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary
•A willingness to engage L.E.A.N continuous improvement principles
•A passion for the kiwifruit industry
