Tauranga MP Simon Bridges is inviting people to have their say and tell him what they really think.
Mr Bridges said knowing what was important to the community was an important part of being in Parliament and he encouraged people to share their views and visions for Tauranga at his MP Question Time.
"As the MP for Tauranga I think it is hugely important that constituents can tell me their views, share their concerns and find out my opinion on different issues."
Mr Bridges will host the MP Question Time event at Daniels in the Park tomorrow and all local residents are invited.
"I regularly hold clinics at my office, as well as meet constituents at various events, but I feel this is also an important tool for me to hear what people think about different local issues," he said.
"I am aware of various issues which residents feel strongly about, and these events give us a chance to discuss their views.
"It also gives me a chance to talk to people about what I have been up to both locally and in Parliament."
Topics which are generally covered during the event include, transport, education, housing and the economy.
Mr Bridges said he looked forward to it.
"I get a lot of positive feedback from these events, especially from people who might not otherwise get in touch with me or my office."
The MP Question Time will be held at Daniels in the Park on July 11, from 6pm to 7.30pm.
