Tauranga MP Simon Bridges will be put under scrutiny as he hosts a questions and answers session for members of the public.
He would host a question time at Tauranga Boys' College on March 28, with all members of his electorate welcome.
Mr Bridges said this gave his constituents an opportunity to hear what he had been working on, both locally and in Parliament, plus they could raise any issues or concerns.
The events happened twice a year.
"I enjoy hosting these events as I get to not only share what I have been doing, but I get a chance to hear from local people about what is on their minds.
"It is a great opportunity for me to engage with some of my constituents, who might not otherwise get in touch," Mr Bridges said.
It was important to hold these events to gauge current concerns of people in his electorate.
"I represent the people of Tauranga in Parliament. I will advocate on their behalf and will work with the appropriate people and agencies to get the best outcomes for our city."
Topics which are generally covered during the event included transport, education, housing and the economy.
Mr Bridges said he looked forward to the varied questions he might be asked.
The MP Question Time will be held at Tauranga Boys' College on March 28, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
