Heavy winds saw a boat wash up on the beach at Pilot Bay today.

Harbourmaster Peter Buell said it was a result of a bollard on the vessel failing.

The owner had been contacted and was arranging for the boat to be moved.

Mr Buell said he has not received any other reports of wind-related incidents today.
