Two men have been arrested after a robbery in Greerton.

Around 2.30pm Greerton Liquor on Cameron Rd was robbed.

Detective Sergeant Paul Barron from Tauranga Crime Squad said two men, aged 19 and 35, were arrested by police later this afternoon.

The men have been charged with theft and assault, and would appear in court.

"The quick identification of the alleged offenders and their apprehension was the result of some outstanding work by local police," Mr Barron said.
