A free shuttle bus has been arranged to will help people get from downtown Tauranga to the Garden Art Festival Lakes Expo Pavilion, next Friday.
The shuttle bus will depart from outside the Tauranga City Library on Willow Street at 8.30am on November 21 and travel continuously between there and The Lakes Pavilion, via Cameron Road, throughout the day.
The last bus will depart The Lakes Pavilion at 5.00pm. Timetable details are available at www.gardenandartfest.co.nz.
Festival Director John Beech said organisers wanted to ensure people didn't miss out due to the festival's new location.
The free bus is being provided by Bay of Plenty Regional Council.
Regional council staff will also be on site at The Lakes Expo Pavilion from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November, to provide information to festival-goers about weed control and the Council's work to care for land and water in the Tauranga Harbour and its catchment.
