Two 21-year-old men have been arrested after firing an air rifle in Papamoa earlier tonight.
Sergeant Dan Roser said police were called to Bermuda Drive after the two men had fired the air rifle near homes, concerning an occupant.
"Two 21-year-old males were firing an air rifle near dwelling houses causing concern for an occupant," Mr Roser said.
Both men were arrested by police at the scene and would face charges, appearing in the Tauranga District Court on Monday, October 6.

The air rifle had been recovered by police, he said.
