Burglars target Bay homes under construction

Six homes were burgled across the Bay of Plenty over the weekend, police say.

Western Bay of Plenty Police attended 6 instances of burglary on houses under construction.

The houses targetted were from Papamoa,Omokoroa, Oropi and the Pyes Pa.

"A range of property has been taken in theses burglaries; builders tools, including nail guns, paint sprayers, saw benches as well as housing materials such as kitchen appliances,heat pumps,extensive amounts of plumbing and LED lights."

Police are seeking information from the public that would lead to the recovery of the stolen property and the identity of the offender/s.
