Car and trailer rolls on SH29

UPDATED 12.39pm: A tow truck has been called to remove a car and a trailer from a the bottom of a bank after they rolled in a crash on State Highway 29 today.

The vehicles rolled at the Poike Rd roundabout about 12.15pm before ending up in a ditch on the Ohauiti side of the road.

A reporter at the scene said no one appeared to be injured and a tow truck had just arrived to help haul the vehicles out of the ditch.

BREAKING NEWS: Emergency services are responding to a report of a car having rolled on State Highway 29.

It is understood a car has rolled at the intersection of SH29 and Poike Rd and gone over a bank. It is not known if anyone is injured.
