Car lands on side near ASB Baypark

UPDATED 6.14pm: A 23-year-old Mount Maunganui man suffered minor injuries after his car left the road ending up on its side near the ASB Baypark this morning.

He was treated at the scene by St John paramedics and did not need transporting to hospital.


UPDATED 10.40am: A person has minor injuries after their car left the road ending up on its side near the Baypark speedway shortly before 10am this morning.

A St John northern communications spokesperson said only one vehicle was involved, and the only occupant of the car was treated at the scene and did not need transporting to hospital.


EARLIER 10.29am: A car has ended up on its side in an accident near Baypark this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 9.56am.

A Fire Service northern communications spokesperson said no one was trapped in the car and was unsure whether another vehicle was involved.
