Crash victim to be farewelled next week

The Bay woman who was killed when her car crossed the centre line at Te Puna in the weekend will be farewelled next week.

Tracey O'Brien, 26, will be remembered at a funeral service at Omokoroa Community Church followed by a private cremation on Monday.

Ms O'Brien was killed in when her silver Nissan Coupe crossed the centreline on State Highway 2 and collided with a people mover on Saturday.

Her children, Faith, 3, and Phoenix, 4, who were both injured in the crash, remain in high dependency wards at Starship Hospital.
