Pedestrian still in critical condition


The man hit by a car in Papamoa early yesterday morning remains in a critical condition.

A Waikato Hospital spokesperson said the 25-year-old Te Puke man was in a critical but stable condition in Intensive Care.

The pedestrian was hit by a car on Papamoa Beach Rd about 5.45am yesterday.

He was rushed to Tauranga Hospital before being airlifted to Waikato Hospital.
