Woman trapped after crash at petrol station

By Staff reporter

A woman had to be cut from her vehicle after a two-car crash outside the Z petrol station at 11th Ave this morning.

Police, St John and the fire service were called to the accident about 11.15am.

A reporter from the scene said it appeared one car had been turning into the petrol station when the crash happened.

A female passenger had to be cut from the vehicle while the driver did not appear to be injured in the accident.

A Northern Communications police spokesperson confirmed a two car crash had taken place but could not give more details.
