A Tauranga man jointly charged with his father for importing and dealing large quantities of cocaine and P allegedly hidden in laptops sourced from the US has been back in court.
Seth Evans, 21, who faced various drug importation, possession and supply charges in Tauranga District Court yesterday was further remanded on bail for a post-committal conference on May 13.
Police say the charges stem from a major drug seizure, involving potentially up to $1 million worth of cocaine and $220,000 of P after a raid on a Mount Maunganui storage unit on January 20.
Evans is jointly charged with his 50-year-old father Joseph Evans. Both men are yet to plead to the charges.
