The winner of the indulge Bay Model Contest has been named the face of a new Auckland brand advertising campaign.
Mount Maunganui model Monique Corbett, 22, was named winner of the Face of Newmarket - a competition searching for a face to front all Newmarket's brand advertising for a year.
Newmarket is a popular shopping and fashion area of Auckland. The prize included a modelling and grooming contract with Monarch Models, a professional photographic session and photos for the winner's personal portfolio, a $5000 prize package, including $4000 from Newmarket Business Association and $1000 worth of Clinique products as well as being the Clinique Ambassador for a year. Ms Corbett won the indulge Bay Model Contest after friends entered her.
Despite the success, Ms Corbett said she did not think she would win the Face of Newmarket 2013/2014. "I was more nervous waiting to hear if I'd made it into the top five ... when I won I was really overwhelmed and just in shock. It was great to have all of my family and friends there."
