Mirrielees Rd off-ramp closure

Motorists wanting to travel to Sulphur Point and the Port of Tauranga from Bethlehem towards Mount Maunganui are advised the Mirrielees Rd off-ramp will be closed this week.

The Mirrielees Rd eastbound off-ramp will be closed between 11am to 3pm tomorrow and Thursday to enable a new footpath to be built.

NZTA Bay of Plenty state highways manager Brett Gliddon said the timing of the works had been selected to minimise any disruption to drivers and to port operations.

Traffic travelling towards the port at Sulphur Point will be detoured via the Chapel Street off-ramp along Chapel Street, Marsh Street and Dive Cres.
