The people who robbed a taxi driver of his keys and cash remain behind bars after their facing a judge yesterday.
Joshua Strickland, 21, appeared in Tauranga District Court on a charged of aggravated burglary following September's attack on a taxi driver at Matapihi.
Strickland was remanded in custody until his next appearance on December 18, when he will be sentenced for the offence.
Strickland's co-accused Tyson James Duncan, 17, will next appear in court on December 3 for sentencing.
A third offender, 19, was given name suppression and released on bail with strict conditions.
Taxi driver Kamal Hossain told the Bay of Plenty Times he feared for his life during the robbery, where $400 cash, keys and his iPhone was taken.
Mr Hossain had arrived at the Matapihi Rd address to pick up three customers, near the rail crossing.
