Man defends sex charges

A Bellevue man charged with molesting two young girls will defend the allegations at trial.

Andrew Timothy Wilson, 38, in Tauranga District Court yesterday denied three counts of doing an indecent act on a girl under 12 - two of which are representative charges. That means the Crown alleges the offences occurred more than once. Wilson also denied two counts of meeting up with a young person under-16 with an unlawful intention.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between August 1 and November 20, 2011. A pre-trial matter will be heard in early July.
