The accused paedophile bailed to the Tauranga central city has reappeared in court.
Timothy Andrew Cossey, 43, appeared in the Hamilton District Court yesterday and was committed to trial.
Cossey is facing 10 charges of sexual offending against minors, including raping a girl under the age of 12.
He had previously been bailed to a Tauranga city address located within 2km of six schools.
He was arrested on December 30 in the Waikato after two complainants known to him went to the police.
Subsequently, 10 charges were laid against him - eight charges of sexual violation and one each of indecent act on a child and indecent assault. He was bailed on January 4 to live in Tauranga.
His next appearance would be a call-over in the High Court in Hamilton on July 6, where a trial date would be set.
