Art lovers will have the opportunity to purchase original artwork at a charity auction, Treasured Art, at Ingham Sears on May 15.
More than 50 pieces of original treasured art are up for grabs next month in the auction-fundraiser organised by Tauranga Sunrise Rotary Club.
Artwork has been fully or partially donated to the Rotary Club by esteemed artists throughout the country.
This includes pieces from artists such as Anna Palmer, Fiona Kerr-Gedson and Tony Ogle. Locally there is work included from Lynne Brown, Rob McGregor, Peter Cramond and many more.
This is the sixth annual Treasured Art exhibition and auction.
Again, proceeds from the art auction will go to nominated charity Kiwi Can - which promotes a youth development life skills and values programme for primary and intermediate schools in New Zealand.
The rotarians have raised more than $80,000 in the past five years for this programme.
Treasured Art auction is at Ingham Sears on Friday May 15. Prior to the gala event and auction in the evening, there will be free public viewing of all auction and exhibition pieces from 1-5 pm.
