If you tallied up the time spent looking for keys in your handbag I am sure it would add up to hours, if not days.
This cute embellishment makes it easy to find them in a snap, and would be a sweet personalised gift.
You can make this in 30 minutes, about the same amount of time you spent rummaging through your bag this week.
Wooden bead key chain You will need:
3 wooden beads
1 keyring
Leather string - 20cm
Acrylic paint
Small paintbrush
Masking tape
Permanent marker
Scissors Chopsticks or similar
(We found all these supplies at Spotlight.)
1 Slide your wooden beads on to a skewer or a thin brush to have something to hold on to when painting.
2 Using the acrylic paint and the markers, draw patterns and paint the beads with the colours of your choice. Allow the paint to dry.
3 Tie the leather string to the key ring and thread both ends through your wooden beads. Tie a knot at the bottom and cut off the leather string.
TIP: You can also use nail polish on the wooden beads.
