The strange and often painful rivalry between Kiwi NBA star Steven Adams and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green has apparently inspired an online video game.
Billed as "NBA Jam meets Double Dragon", the just-released programme is entitled Draymond Green's Shut Up And Slam Jam Karate Basketball, an obvious reference to Green's overly aggressive on-court demeanour.
"Due to a scheduling error, the local rec centre has been doubled booked for a charity basketball event and a karate championship!" goes the game's storyline.
"Luckily Draymond Green has the moves to please EVERYONE in attendance."
Green's karate skills were highlighted during last season's Warriors v Oklahoma City Thunder playoff series, when he, not once but twice, kicked Adams in the groin.
The first incident, in Game Two, escaped punishment, but Green was assessed a flagrant foul and fined $25,000 after the second in Game Three.
That ruling would ultimately prove pivotal in the Warriors' finals series against Cleveland Cavaliers. With Golden State up 3-1 after Game Four, Green was suspended for his fourth flagrant of the playoffs,
In Green's absence, Cleveland won Game Five and then the next two for a 4-3 series victory.
"Draymond Green Video Game Is About Basketball, But Also Kicking Dicks", proclaims the Deadspin website, which also nicknames Green "The Human Vasectomy".
