Two Auckland teachers have been struck off after Disciplinary Tribunal hearings.
One, a primary school relief teacher, sent photos of children to a man with whom he was in a close personal relationship.
He knew that man was sexually attracted to young children and was undergoing medical treatment to address the condition.
The teacher acknowledges that his actions amount to serious misconduct.
He's agreed to pay around $3500 toward investigation and prosecution costs.
In the second case, a high school teacher has admitted exaggerating her years of experience and claiming she had an MA when she had not completed the course.
And it's been revealed another Auckland teacher was struck off after kicking, punching, and verbally abusing pupils, including swearing at them, calling them idiots and sending some to an "ugly desk" .
