Today's the last chance for Aucklanders to have their say on where, when and how alcohol can be sold.
The council's draft local alcohol policy is open to public submissions until 4:00 this afternoon.
People are strongly supporting more restrictions, with 61% surveyed happy to see central city bars close at 2am.
Alcohol Healthwatch director Rebecca Williams says the community still wants more to be done.
"From the community-public heal perspective you can see very very strong support for something a little stronger than what's been proposed in Auckland, but you can bet your bottom dollar that the alcohol industry and their supporters will be looking to maintain the status quo."
