Anna Leask is senior police reporter for the New Zealand Herald.

Biography

Anna Leask is senior police reporter for the New Zealand Herald and has been working from the Auckland newsroom since 2010. She writes on a range of issues including crime, emergency services, the courts, corrections, parole and is one of our most experienced breaking news reporters. Anna has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications and Sociology and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from the University of Canterbury. In 2013 Anna authored her first true crime book about the death of Auckland teenager Christie Marceau, who was fatally stabbed in her own home by a youth on bail.
